Machida-kun no Sekai was one of the few mangas that I read a long, long time ago. It wasn't that long, though. I stumbled upon this Manga around 2018 and forgot about it a couple of months later. Six years later, Thanks to Reddit, I finally finished the manga.
I would say Damn it's still a good manga to re-read a couple of times since it does give you a good feeling sort of thing for the insides of your heart.
The Main Character Machida-kun is a very very humble High School guy who helps everyone he sees no matter what the situation is. Even though he does have a lot of siblings in his family, He still loves them very much. In the later chapters after Machida's mom gave birth, we learn that his mom was very very busy and couldn't give his attention to a picture that he drew however the mom's younger sister gave her full attention. Machida wanted attention very much but somehow I guess When he grew older he was happily willing to give his all ears to someone.
The mom is a stay-at-home mom but his dad is a scientist. So typically Machida-kun is like the man of the house when his dad is out of the country doing his work.
In the first through second chapters, he meets a girl who he tries to connect with trying to get her back to class. Her name is Inohara, When he sees that she is walking with another male stranger. He walks in very quickly and tells them that she is someone important to him and can't let this go by. She wonders why he cares about her and it is because she is his classmate. It makes her heart flutter.
Each plot goes to Meeting old friends, Reconnecting with people who lost hope, finding hope, Solving problems, knowing how to love someone, etc...
The way how Machida-kun parents met in high school is pretty funny lol...
Throughout the 27 chapters, it has good feeling moments and lots of frizz lmao. It does question yourself on if your willing to be a good person for someone and or if you're willing to know how to first love yourself. Because at the end of the day, no one is perfect unless you're willing to move forward.
So yeah It's a good 27-chapter manga to speed through with feelings.
