You see all sorts of Handhelds from the windows side and they all look the same no matter what you see on screen. They all looked bland and small with keyboards popping up or just the regular Xbox control glued on the screen.
They all looked the same!!!
What makes the SteamDeck special is the unique design that revolutionizes the gaming controller. It has 4 back buttons and two trackpads that will give you more buttons when you're playing an MMO, unlike the Xbox or PS4 controller.
Sure the design of the Xbox controller is so universal on all devices. Despite seeing the Legion go with Steamos I am not very impressed with the Hardware design. I wish the design carried from the steam deck. However, I believe Valve is not giving up its design to anyone since it's a highly special design. And the screen technology is nowhere near from other companies with Window Handhelds or Monitors of this caliber. You will not find a Handheld device that will let you go on 40hz.

And Yeah it's 3x more powerful than Steamdeck but it doesn't matter.
What matters is what makes the product comfortable for the end user.
Design, Better interface, and Usability
For example, Every Product has something special that makes that product buyable and worthwhile to the consumer.
GPD has a mini computer that can fit in the pocket
ASUS ROG and others can attach a GPU to it
As said Earlier SteamDeck has
OS, Screen technology, and its loyal customers.
The 3 things no other Handheld will have since they all have to truly rely on Steam.
At least we have choices lol???
