Concise description of lake photo for screen readers or if image fails to load.

Have you ever watched a video on how to build a computer?

For the 1,000th time lol

Game this, gaming this, gaming that. Windows sucks blah blah blah.

Yeah, computers are boring unless you know how to use them.

Windows 10 support will end on October 14, 2025

Sadly Computers from 2005 to 2019 will not work on Windows 11

Leaving them in the complete dumpster fire of E-Waste. Laptops for the last 20 years are going to be the worst lol. Your Best bet for Windows 11 to work is a 2020-Present or buy the latest hardware to install Windows 11 with.

The used market is dead for the resellers because they rely on Windows 10 lol to operate their boring computer business!!!

However, on the bright side, you can always download Debian Linux or Arch Linux to get the best use case on your used ThinkPad x200 or ThinkPad T510 lol or um that Q6600 lol.....

Hilariously you !!!! Still!!! have to use your new computer to download Linux extract it on a USB drive and plug it into your 2016 machine lol

I'm pretty sure you can still buy a cd to install it lol

Do I need to buy a used laptop?
No, it's not worth it unless you have no choice to get that price
However, due to inflations and how scammy those used computer stores are you may have no choice but to get it.
or
Save money to buy a new laptop, which typically costs between $399.99 and $579.99.

Do I need to buy a used Desktop?

Mostly you might get a computer for free or at least $100-300 dollars

A new computer that you could build or premade just for browsing the web or writing a document will cost you around $399.99-$499.99

Do you need Linux?

Well, that depends. What do you need it for? It's quite clear what you might use it for. There are so many programs that you can freely use on Linux; it's truly amazing. Plus, it's free! You just need to learn a couple of things to get it going and understand how it works. And you're good to go?

Alternatives

Apple? Lol Unless you're freaking rich

How about getting a SteamDeck?

The Steam Deck is the best logical choice to compute and game at $399.99 plus tax and shipping is a total of $430. It's way better than buying a cheap laptop at Best Buy and it's good to play PC games and your Emulators. It can game Half-Life 2 or any game that is compatible with Linux or if you see the green or grey checkmark.

Ok, what if you aren't using a computer?

You can always buy an Android phone with 512GB as a secondary phone

Don't buy used hardware from 10 to 15 years ago. Save your money and buy newer hardware, as it performs better when purchased new rather than used.

You can always wait until the end of the year for Black Friday sales
