#ComputerVideogamesMisc

Concise description of lake photo for screen readers or if image fails to load.

As a kid in the 6th grade in 2006 $599 was crazy and still game on a ps2

Two weeks ago, Sony had a huge PS5 Pro Technical Presentation hosted by Mark Cerny. It is just how a video showing off the power of the PS5 Pro. No new games were shown off on this machine. The crazy part is the price is $699.99 Disc drive and Stand are Sold separately. That's right!!! This time, I guess they will only sell the console with no disc drive on day 1. PS5 Slim is still 500 bucks. So Sony has the balls to up their price.

The most affected to this price is the freaking Japanese!!! Price at 120,000 Yen!!!

We know that CPU Zen 2 is just the same, but raises its clock speed a bit, mixed in with its new GPU and AI FSR stuff altogether. Maybe RDNA4 GPU 7700xt or 8700xt? Type GPU. It's not the CPU but their bet is this upgraded GPU that will make PS4 games look better than before lol>?

I can't help but wonder if consoles from now on are going to be a complete E-waste dumpster fire. What the heck are the Retro gaming stores going to do with this piece of plastic on their shelf after 6 years lol? Imagine trading this in and them looking at you with crazy eyes.

Like what are you going to do with this?

Lmao....

In this day and age, times are changing, the days of the consoles are done. Well as much as I hate Nintendo, they are pretty much the only "gaming machine" If I had kids I would recommend it ha ha ha.

PS5 pro

$699.99

PS5 stand lol 29.99

3 Games lol $69.99

1 more Controller $69.99

Adds up to $1,020?

PC Alternative

AM4 AMD CPU 5700x + RTX 4070 Super or RX 7700xt

Buying AM5 7700x or better with RX 7700xt

Its gonna cost you around $1,200 or 1400 dollars

Side-note

You can get a free PC case or a cheap ass case from Goodwill or Amazon.

Also get a 1,000 watt around PSU 149-190 usd never cheap out the PowerSupply

What you get By paying $1,200-1,400 for PC parts

You get an insane library of games on Steam through discounts

you get 8 games if you donate $30 bucks From Humble Bundle

you get free games every month from the Epic Game Store.

You can play Free2Play games such as Fortnite/PubG

You can Pirate the damn game

You can get old games that will work from Gog.com

You can play the Emulators from every game system released over the last 20 years. Download ROMs!!!

You can build a website

You can create content

You can make something???

You must understand by building a NEW PC you are still getting the bang for your buck in gaming. You aren't going to pay Sony/Microsoft online Fee unless you're paying a subscription to an MMO such as FFXIV or World of Warcraft.

But Johnny I don't have 1,000 to buy a computer lol?

Work! Get your ass out and work, save your money until Black Friday. Buy each part and when you have enough money get the other parts. Have your parents or guardians help you buy necessary parts needed to build a computer.

"You can get a Steam Deck for $600. It may not be very powerful, but it's better than a low-end laptop. The software is superior to Windows Handheld, such as the ROG Ally, which is priced at $699. You can cap games at 40-45fps. Most games will work on the Steam Deck, but it's important to check compatibility. Alternatively, you could just get the ROG Ally? LOL"

Soo uhh In conclusion and TLDR

Save your money

If you already have a PC Don't bother/ Don't worry lol

Retro gaming stores may reject the PS5 Pro.

Maybe after its lifespan the PS5 will get cheaper at $299?. IDK if PS5 pro will be 399 after 4 years until the PS6 is here.

PS My younger Brother's XBOX One 2014 $499 is in the Depths of a hidden closet covered in dust bunnies.

I do remember getting a PS2 Slim around 2005. And the Price stayed until the PS3 reveal. I did get the PS3 around 2012 lmao. But man Just like the FFXIV players on PS4 Pro and maybe PS5? Lol The PS2 price and the network adaptor was such a good deal for FFXI players. But man At $299 plus the FFXi subscription you get an awesome experience and much more affordable than a $2,400 PC back in 2004 and FFXI console players got support until March 31, 2016,
