#ComputerVideogamesMisc

If you have been following the news on Graphics cards since January of this year The RTX 40 Super series weren't selling well according to Korean  quasarzone.com/bbs/qn_hardware-views- and wccftech.com/nvidia-limit-supply-geforce-rtx-40-ada-gpus-make-room-rtx-50-blackwell-gaming-lineup

So instead Nvidia will release their RTX 5090/5080 Sooner than later around Q3 or Q4 meaning mid-summer or the Fall.

Hopefully, Nvidia will talk about the next-gen stuff at Computex. Another thing I'm hoping for is for them to fix the power cable issues for their 5090/5080 GPU lineup.

As of right now since late 2023 4090s power connectors are melting/blowing up because cables are loose or not tight enough to fit in or even have enough power to supply it. Fingers crossed that they will fix it. Also, the mid-range 40 series aren't good enough to upgrade since everyone like myself just bought a 30 series card around the summer of 2022.

You know what though the RTX 3060ti is still a good card. Just play games from a decade ago until 2020. And it doesn't make sense to buy a 4000 card right now so just save your money for next gen stuff.

AMD phenomenon

Tbh I never had an AMD GPU but OMFG AMD APUs are killing it and now there are talks of the next-generation APU that will be up to RTX3050-RX 6400 levels. That's right we finally getting GPU performance that defeats the low-end range of GPUs. Strix Point series will expand AMD's Ryzen processor lineup with better performance. It makes me believe that maybe Steamdeck 2 will get a release date in 2025 or 2026 since AMD APU will release their next-next-gen which is better than their current line-up until 2027. here is the link

I'm not gonna upgrade my Steamdeck but wait for the next-gen Steamdeck. But man I want those small mini laptops lmao but I am soo freaking broke lmao.

PS5 Pro stuff

But last and for least is the PS5 Pro which is going to be released around November 2024. From what I heard it's going to be a 10 percent performance jump but a massive GPU jump similar to a RX 7700xt. Sony will have its own FSR/DLSS mode on the system and some nice features such as 40FPS. The Capp Locks A feature is currently available on SteamDeck. I am surprised they are going to implement that 40fps locked

My whole thoughts about it? is still just meh lmao. I still have a PS4 Pro and my Younger bro doesn't have the patience to wait lmao so he's just gonna get the regular PS5 for his birthday in the summer.
