Hello, my fellow adventurers this past Friday night was a live letter from Yoshi-P and there is a ton of stuff that will keep us FFXIV players quite busy to grind off on.

Secondly, He Showed off what the graphics would be like and the difference between 6.58 and 7.0

The upgrade graphics will not appear for all areas but will gradually appear sooner from each patch. However, Endwalker and DawnTrail will get the upgraded graphics layers added.
Please note that PS4/XBOX Series S will get upgraded graphics but will get lower resolution shadows and low particles etc.. So yeah don't expect too much from it lol.
But for Us SteamDeck Owners we have much more headroom with the added FSR and Dynamic resolution we will be fine since we can capped the game at 40-45fps at low settings.
AMD FSR and Nvidia DLSS are implemented onto FFXIV graphics settings. I don't know what the benefit of it but... they kinda highly suggest using DLSS if you have RTX 20, 30, or 40 series.

They also added Privacy/Blocking features
meaning you can block someone and won't see them in the game and kick them out of your estate. You can also hide your profile on the lodestone.
