A really good straight foward movie

Ok, I have to say this if I don't I won't be able to give my good thoughts on a movie that I have liked for the last couple of days now. So the movie that I am talking about is Young and Dangerous. It's a Hong Kong gangster film that was in the mid-90s. It is about Hong Kong Gangsters grabbing respect and loyalty. The movie that I watch is Young and Dangerous 3. It is a good movie from start to end. It features the most recognizable Hong Kong actors from the 1990s. Most of these actors such as Roy Cheung, Anthony Wong, and Simon Yam later acted in one of my favorite Hong Kong films of all time "The MISSION" 1999. I will talk about that film Soon. But for now, let us discuss Young and Dangerous3.

To let you know, I am going to spoil the whole movie because I don't care about the plot as much as I will talk more about the action, the acting, and the way they talk in Cantonese in these scenes.

The main plot is Chan Ho Nam and his group coming back from Taiwan ( they were in Taiwan in the last film) "Young and Dangrous2. Getting back in their group called "Hung Hing".

While they were away a new rival group was formed called "Tung Sing", led by "Camel" Lok (Chan Wai Man).

Crow and Tiger are the two main villains in the film who are somewhat cocky in trying to cease power and become a bitter rival to the main character.

First Crow made a joke not knowing who No Ham is. The second was the Auction incident for the Forever Red. And Thirdly setting up a bar near his establishment. Both groups just don't like each other, tending towards an active hostility that's been growing larger and larger. Despite Both leaders Chiang" Hung Hing" Camel Lok "Tung Sing" Both really like each other.

Both groups settled their peace when they were in Amsterdam, however, a turn of events tragically happens when both, Chairman Chiang and the 8 fingers are gunned down by Crow, Tiger, and their henchmen who they bumped into when they first entered Hollad.

This has put Ho Nam in a difficult position since he is framed as a suspect. When things are cooling off.

the head leader is soon getting beaten up by Ho Nam men to get payback.

Crow and Tiger are with their leader inside an ambulance going to the hospital. Camel Lok is recovering at the hospital. Crow and Tiger entered the room and chatted with Lok and after a small chit-chat chat crow eliminated their leader. it ends up being negative for Chicken and the guys.

 Now Two leaders are eliminated.

Soon later a manhunt is on Ho Nam. The worst part is after getting ambushed Nam's girlfriend is taken hostage by Crow in their building. Soon after Nam is there but is held down and witnesses his girlfriend's death. Chicken saves the day but sadly this causes Ho Nam with great sadness.

The Final Showdown is at the Funeral of the Leader Tung Sing Camel.

This movie has a couple of good subplots and a cameo of a Fake Bruce Lee who later appears in Shaolin Soccer

Sub-Plots

Chan Ho Nam's relationship with his girlfriend Smartie who lost her memory

Chicken Relationship with Shuk-Fan

Michael Tse's character - Dai Tin-yee becomes a helping hand for both No Ham and Chicken.

I think Jerry Lamb's Character - Pou-pan is just a chilled guy with the newest member Banana Skin.

My favorite scenes that are cool

  1. The moment when Chicken accidentally crashes into the woman that we will later see. This scene is so great because she speaks English to Chicken meanwhile the guys just make fun of her until she speaks Cantonese
  2. The Auction Scene. I wonder how many times they had to clean up that beautiful rug to get that perfect shot when Roy Chueng Flipped the table down where all the food was on that beautiful red rug lmao.
  3. When the guys confronted Crows Bar

Overall it's a good movie and I highly recommend watching it.
