So here we are finally in 6.5!!! I can’t believe it!! Man, I just can’t believe it, we just finished 3 patches this year, it didn’t feel that long given the long Stretch of content between the last 4 months when those patches came in. You know time flies when you’re having too much fun in FFXIV. Man, what a crazy year though can u believe it!! From the cheating Fiasco that started during the World Race back in January
The Japanese players who cheated during the World Race had to forfeit their rewards to Square Enix
The war cry in February-March when everyone went crazy Before the new games were coming out
And then late March thru July was slow in this time period for the road to 6.4. However, The players got to enjoy Baldur’s Gate 3, Resident Evil 4 remake, and other games that people were enjoying.
Some popular streamers had to bury the hatchet and had a great time at NA FanFest. Problems occurred during the event where the staff didn’t assist people with ADA accommodations. Some Felt the event was heavily disorganized and security didn’t care much due to staff shortage. Thank God nothing bad happened in the event. At least people were safe and enjoyed it in Las Vegas.

Before 6.5 many people questioned if End Walker was a good Expansion. I just think people have forgotten that in Live Letter 68 Final Fantasy XIV Live Letter 68 Summary; first graphical update and patch roadmap detailed on novacrystallis ,this expansion alone was for Yoshi-P to slow down a bit from the heavy workloads placed upon them between Storm Blood and Shadow Bringers(Large scale content). Also COVID-19 Epidemic may played a role in this, but they didn’t change much for their plan content for Patch 6.1. I believe nobody or some didn’t bat at the eye, because we all needed content soo badly lol. We needed so badly to the point we just needed to take it to heart when 6.1 and 6.2 came thru.

Some did question if this expansion alone will exclude the players who came to enjoy large-scale content from Bozja in ShadowBringers

You are not playing this online game alone. You are technically still playing with people through 4-player dungeons, 8-man raids, or alliance raids roulette. I believe it was a good thing that they did not do large-scale content this time around on EndWalker. Because it may cause their talented workers to burn out and maybe lose the casual players. With this expansion alone, they managed to balance between the hardcore and solo players. Even though some players left in 6.1 and waited 2 years until 7.0 arrived. It is only up to you as the player on what content you want to enjoy in this game haha and what you want to accomplish.
I think End-Walker 6.1-6.5 had a good story the ending was quite shocking and made a WTF! moment of why that happened. Haha lol. It’s ok that it happened that way, but I just wish it could have gotten better at the end of that epic moment lol.
The one thing I didn’t even consider or realize is if Square Enix and Yoshi-P ever considering doing some form of Anti-Cheat for this MMO game? to counter the cheating on Crystalline Conflict and other things.
I saw this post on Reddit that was written way back in 2018the anti-cheat measures present in this game?
and in 2023FF14's cheating problem is a problem they caused.

Does FFXIV “NEED” an anti-cheat system in place? or does the Japanese industry feel that it maybe too complicated to input these things in there online games? Who knows?
But anyway, what a great 2 years it has been with End-Walker from the live letters to Yoshi-P with very vague messages on 7.0. And the awards it’s been getting from 2021 and 2022. Man, it’s pretty awesome though. I just can’t wait to be blown away by the ending of 6.5 part 2 and go to the next stage of our FFXIV journey in DawnTrail
FFXIV EU/London FanFest
So EU FanFest has just ended 2-3 weeks ago, I just had to really suck in all the stuff that just happened in the 6.5 part 1 and all of the EU/London FanFest content. And I am just soo freaking excited for 7.0. New DPS JOB Viper, new alliance raids, and that extended 7.0 trailer
When the Show Began we were shown the same trailer with new Footage that wasn’t shown at N/A FanFest. And then our adventurist got a good grin when the enemy thought they got the better hand and he has shown off dual edge swords and then put the dual swords and kick ass like Thanos big ass dual swords similar in Endgame
At the end of the trailer, we learn that He was actually holding onto his sword with his fist gripping it. That part was hidden in the teaser trailer.
Yoshi-P then walks out with his cosplay of the new job. The newest DPS Job is called Viper.

From what I understand from the gameplay footage
Viper is like Ninja but with dual-wield swords?
My two predictions on how it is going to play like
- Going back and going forward button to avoid getting hit
- Cool downs are similar to Ninja but have combo specials like Reaper
Where do we Start Viper ?>?
- You can start at Ul’dah
- Viper starts at level 80
- You can basically start grinding XP in dungeons and tribe quest level 70/80
I am excited to use Viper since I am a Samurai main. However, I am not extremally fond of Ninja due to the steps to activate the special Combo moves. I also didn’t play much on Reaper , though Reaper’s combo specials looks awesome and very intense. So I’m looking forward to main Viper alongside Samurai. Meanwhile they are saving the Magic DPS for Tokyo FanFest.

Dawn-Trail New area TURAL is Part Brazilian Rainforest and Texan-like desert.
In Dawn Trail, we are divided into two teams, finding the Golden prize that will lead us to becoming king of the pirates or the island king. There might be some evil laying us a trap to fall to take our soul’s or something else more sinister.

EndWalker was one of the greatest experiences I had ever endured in my life as a gamer who invested my own time in the living and breathing world of a video game. We all had good and bad moments. In the end, it was a worthwhile experience. I will keep on moving forward and still be in this game in the next 10 years until I grow old or until the world ends.
